Facility Vision Team

Purpose:

The FBC Woodville Facility Vision Team is conducting a comprehensive review of the church's current facilities to assess their functionality, safety, and suitability for future ministry needs.

They will:

  • Develop a plan for the facilities review, including identifying areas to be evaluated (e.g., worship space, classrooms, kitchen, restrooms, accessibility).

  • Conduct a physical inspection of the facilities, noting any existing issues or areas for improvement.

  • Host informational town hall meetings to gather input from church leadership, staff, and congregation on their needs and vision for the facilities.

  • Analyze the gathered input (including town hall discussions, surveys, etc.) and prioritize recommendations.

  • Research and identify potential solutions or upgrades to address identified needs.

  • Develop a cost-benefit analysis for potential solutions.

  • Compile a report summarizing the findings of the review, including recommendations for improvement, potential timelines, and implementation strategies.

  • Present the vision for the future of the facilities and recommendations to the church leadership and/or congregation.

  • Work collaboratively with church leadership and staff to prioritize and implement recommendations.

Members of the team:

  • Trey Allison, Harold Dishongh, Michael Gracey, Dale Mann, Lori Springer, and Kathy Weaver

Your input is needed:

The team is expected to meet bi-weekly for the first two months, with additional time dedicated to conducting the physical review, research, and hosting town hall meetings.

As the team is meeting, we ask for input from church members regarding our facility and the vision of how we can use it well for our congregation and community. Give any input to the team using the form below. Be sure to state your name and give us your return email so your input can be heard. Thank you!
